TULSA, Okla. – The Golden Hurricane will travel for the first time in The American Athletic Conference, as it takes on the Bearcats of Cincinnati and the Pirates of ECU.

Tulsa will play Cincinnati on Friday, Sept. 29, at 6 p.m. The Hurricane holds a slim advantage in the overall series between the two programs, 4-3. Last season, the two teams split the series, as each team won on the road. Cincinnati has won three of its last four, including two conference wins against USF and UCF.

The Golden Hurricane will travel to Greenville, N.C., for a matchup against ECU on Sunday, Oct. 1, at noon. In the 17 times that the two programs have met, Tulsa has only lost one matchup. The only loss came in the first ever meeting between the two teams. ECU has won three of its last four. This past weekend ECU split in The American, where they lost to UCF, but defeated USF.
