Taylor Horsfall Named American Defensive Player of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference announced its weekly conference awards and named Taylor Horsfall Defensive Player of the Week.
Sophomore Taylor Horsfall put forth an impressive week for the Golden Hurricane. Horsfall posted a match-high 28 digs against UMKC in the Cougar Classic, while adding 23 digs against SIUE and 17 digs against Wright State to complete the sweep in the Cougar Classic. She also added two service aces against the Raiders.
Horsfall's stellar performance in the Cougar Classic earned her a nod on the All-Tournament Team.
