Tulsa Head Women's Basketball Coach Matilda Mossman announced today the appointment of Zach Cooper as video coordinator for the Golden Hurricane.
"We are really excited about adding someone with Zach's experience to this position," Mossman said. "His knowledge of video coupled with his work ethic will allow for a seamless transition."
Cooper previously worked at Houston for three seasons (2014-17) as the women's basketball video coordinator where he was responsible for all game film and scouting report film for coaches and players.
Prior to Houston, Cooper spent two seasons (2012-14) as the video coordinator intern and graduate assistant for the Arkansas women's basketball program.
Cooper was a four-year men's basketball letterwinner at Central College (Iowa) from 2006-10, where he served as the team captain for two seasons. He finished his career ranked second in career blocks (110) and second in single season blocks with 46 during the 2008-09 campaign.
A native of Johnston, Iowa, Cooper graduated from Central College in May of 2010 with a bachelor's degree in marketing before earning his master's degree in recreation and sports management from Arkansas in May of 2014.
Cooper fills the position vacated by Tad Wedel who left the Golden Hurricane program to serve as the Creative Recruiting and Media Coordinator for the Colorado women's basketball team.
