Senior guard Corey Henderson Jr. is averaging 9.0 points and 2.1 rebounds per game for the Golden Hurricane this season. He has appeared in 52 games with 16 starts and has hit a team-leading 94 3-pointers since arriving at TU prior to the 2016-17 season.
He has scored in double-figures seven times during the 2017-18 campaign, including a career-high 30 points behind eight 3-pointers in Tulsa's double-overtime win over UConn on Jan. 3. He added 24 points in the win over Central Arkansas (Nov. 25) and he has twice been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll this season.
Henderson began his collegiate career at Wichita State before spending a season at Blinn College in Brenham, Texas. He joined the Golden Hurricane prior to last season and he hit 55 3-pointers on his way to averaging 8.7 ppg during his first season in a TU uniform.
