Sophomore guard Curran Scott is in his first season in a Tulsa uniform after he sat out the 2016-17 campaign following his transfer from Charlotte. He has appeared in all 16 games this season with eight starts and is averaging 7.4 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.

Scott has scored in double-figures four times, most recently with 11 points off the bench to help Tulsa to a win at Tulane on New Year's Eve. The Edmond native scored a season-high 17 points in TU's win over Western Michigan in the opening round of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off at Myrtle Beach and added 16 points to aid a win over UTSA.

As a freshman at Charlotte in 2015-16, Scott averaged 10.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per contest and shot 45.2-percent from the field. He also led the team with 122 makes at the free-throw line, where he shot a team-best 83-percent. Scott scored a career-high 30 points against UAB that season to become the first Charlotte freshman to score at least 30 since 1993.

Prior to his time at Charlotte, Scott averaged 21.9 points and was an all-state selection for Memorial High School in Edmond. He totaled more than 1,500 points during his prep career, which included three seasons at Santa Fe High School, where he was a three-time all-district selection and played with current TU teammate DaQuan Jeffries.
