TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa fans are encouraged to wear blue and make themselves heard this Saturday at 6:30 p.m. when the Golden Hurricane host No. 5 Wichita State at the Donald W. Reynolds Center  in the first-ever Havoc in the Heartland men's basketball game.

Only 367 tickets remain for the contest, which will mark the 127th meeting between the Hurricane and Shockers. Fans can purchase tickets online here, by calling 918.631.GoTU (4688) or in person at the Reynolds Center Ticket Office.

Saturday's game will be the first conference matchup between Tulsa and Wichita State since 1996. The series dates back to a 32-30 TU victory in Wichita on Dec. 20, 1930, and the programs were members of the Missouri Valley Conference together from 1945-96. During that time, the Tulsa-Wichita State rivalry was one of the most intense in the conference and the region.

TU has faced Wichita State more than any other program and the next chapter in the rivalry will be written on Saturday at the Reynolds Center.
