
Golden Hurricane Ranked 29th in Latest ITA Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association and Oracle announced the latest Oracle ITA Collegiate rankings for Division I women's tennis on Tuesday. Tulsa was listed at the No. 29 spot and has been ranked inside the Top-50 for a 12th consecutive year.
The Golden Hurricane has posted a record of 1-2 against ranked opponents this season. TU dropped a heartbreaker against No. 18 Arkansas, 4-3, and fell to No. 10 Michigan, 4-1. Those losses are the only losses on the season for the Hurricane, as it has recorded a 10-2 mark on the season.
One of the biggest wins on the season to date is the victory at No. 16 Baylor, 4-2. Tulsa is on a five-match winning streak. The Hurricane has had a lot of success coming on the road, as only four matches have been played at the friendly confines of the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Tulsa returns to action as it hosts USF on Sunday, Feb. 25, at 12 p.m. at the Case Tennis Center.
