Senior guard Jaleel Wheeler has appeared in all 27 games this season with 11 starts and he has totaled 125 points and 102 rebounds. The Newark, N.J., native scored a season-high 13 points in the squad's win over Memphis (Jan. 20) and pulled down a career-best nine rebounds at Illinois State and against Tulane.
 
In his second season at TU, Wheeler has seen action in 57 games during his career with 40 starts and is averaging 7.1 points and 4.0 rebounds. He has scored in double-figures 17 times.
 
Prior to coming to Tulsa, Wheeler played two seasons at Kilgore College in Longview, Texas. There he was a NJCAA All-American Honorable Mention and All-Region XIV first-team pick after he averaged 22.3 ppg in 2016.
