The Woodlands, Texas –– A short-handed Tulsa women's golf team finished in 17th place at the rain-shortened The Dickson Tournament on Tuesday afternoon. Poor course conditions on Monday due to rain delayed the start until today and reduced the tournament from 54 to 18 holes.
With only four golfers participating, due to injury, the Hurricane counted all four scores for a total of 321 at the par-72 Woodlands Country Club course. Clemson took home the team title with a score of five-under par 283.
For the Hurricane, junior Nicole Marquardt turned in Tulsa's best score of the day with a round of 77 for 57th place. Johanna Samuelsson scored a round of 80, followed by Olivia Jackson's 81 and Anneke Strobach's 83.
Tulsa will be back in action March 12-13 at the BYU Entrada Classic in St. George, Utah.
