Tulsa Rowing Hosts Central Oklahoma on Saturday

The Tulsa rowing team will host Central Oklahoma in a duel on Saturday, March 24 at the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest on the Verdigris River in Catoosa, Okla.
The regatta will consist of three races, with the Varsity 4+ at 9:00 am, followed by the 2nd Varsity 8+ at 9:15 and the Varsity 8+ at 9:30.
"This is one of our two home races this season, and the team is always excited to get to race at home," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "We are looking forward to a really tough race. Coach Rice has built a really great team at the University of Central Oklahoma and has been within a whisker of winning the NCAA Division II Championships for the last few years. It's good racing for our teams as we get ready for the middle of our seasons and hopefully we'll have a good crowd in Catoosa this weekend cheering everyone on."
