Senior forward Junior Etou leads Tulsa in scoring (15.1 ppg) and rebounding (7.7 rpg) for the second consecutive season and he will enter the Aaron's American Athletic Conference Championship as the only player to rank among the league's top five in both categories.

A second-team all-conference selection, Etou has scored in double-figures 26 times with seven games of at least 20 points to help TU finish fourth in the conference, outperforming its preseason prediction (8th) for the fourth consecutive season. He was twice named the league's Player of the Week and his seven double-doubles during conference play led the circuit.

Etou has started all 62 games of his career at Tulsa and he has averaged 13.8 points and 7.2 rebounds per game in a Golden Hurricane uniform. He has totaled 1,226 points during his NCAA Division I career, with 327 points in two seasons at Rutgers and 854 points at TU.
