Tulsa's Olivia Jackson Sits in 4th Place at The American Golf Championship

PALM COAST, Fla. – After two rounds of the American Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane remains in 6th place, while Olivia Jackson is in a 4th place tie and fellow junior Annee Strobach is one shot back in 8th place.
 
The Hurricane carded a round of 315 for a 620 total after the first 36 holes on the par-72 Conservatory course at the Hammock Beach Resort.
 
Jackson had a round of 74 today for a 3-over par total of 147 and is in a four-way tie for 4th place, while Strobach turned in a round of 75 and her 148 total score is good for 8th place overall.
 
Johanna Samuelsson shot her second straight round of 80 as her 160 two-round score is good for 35th place. Nicole Marquardt scored an 86 on Monday and is in 47th place with a score of 165.
 
The nation's 23rd-ranked Houston Cougars continue to lead the 10-team tournament field with a score of 593, leading second-place Memphis (597) by four strokes. East Carolina's Dorthea Forbrigd has an even-par score of 144 to lead for individual medalist honors.
 
The tournament concludes on Tuesday with the final 18 holes.
