TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa men's tennis team is the No. 6 seed in the 2018 American Athletic Conference Tournament. The Golden Hurricane will play the No. 3 seed, nationally ranked No. 42, UCF on Friday, April 20, at 12 p.m.

Majed Kilani stormed up 33 spots to No. 81 in the ITA singles poll. He has won six of the last eight dual singles matches. Joshua Goodger jumped up nine spots to the No. 93 singles ranking in the latest poll released by the ITA. Goodger and Jarod Hing landed at the No. 73 doubles ranking in the latest poll. Most recently, the dynamic duo defeated the, then No. 4, doubles team from Texas in a commanding fashion, 6-1.

No. 42 ranked UCF knocked off TU earlier this season, 5-2. This will mark the second postseason in a row that TU and UCF will meet in the conference tournament. The Knights are led by the No. 3 ranked tandem, Korey Lovett and Eero Vasa.
