Golden Hurricane Set to Compete in Three Different Meets

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa track & field team will be in three different locations this weekend. The Golden Hurricane will compete in the Mt. SAC Relays and Bryan Clay Invitational in California, and the John Jacobs Invitational in Norman, Oklahoma.
The Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, California, will feature Ben Preisner, Adam Roderique, and Caitlin Klopfer. Preisner will compete in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, while Roderique and Klopfer will participate in their respective 10,000-meters.
Grey Howard, Robert Tully, Mark Middleton, Peter Lynch, Ashley Barnes, Alyssa Bolliger, and Jenny O'Bryan will be making the trip to Azusa, California, for the Bryan Clay Invitational. Howard and Tully will run the 800-meters. Middleton will compete in the 1,500-meters. Lynch and O'Bryan will race in their respective 5,000-meters. Barnes and Bolliger will compete in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
The Hurricane will be sending 16 men and 16 women to Norman, for the John Jacobs Invitational. The hammer throw is the only event that takes place on Friday, April 20. The javelin will kick off the events on Saturday at 10 a.m.
