TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa volleyball program and Head Coach Ryan Wills announced on Wednesday the addition of two more signees to the 2018 recruiting class, including Junior College All-American Maddie Rhoder and Nebraska high school star Lauren Isenberg.

Rhoder, a native of Houston, Texas, was a NJCAA and AVCA first-team All-American, first-team all-Region and first-team all-conference selection at San Jacinto College. A middle blocker, Rhoder tallied 641 kills in just two seasons at San Jacinto and accumulated 286 total blocks, with 104 of those coming as solo blocks. She was also named the 2017 Region 14 Player of the Year and the San Jacinto College Central Athlete of the Year.

Rhoder graduated from Fort Bend Stephen F. Austin High School, where she was a two-year letterwinner.

"Maddie will add a lot to this team," said Wills. "We are excited to add her athleticism and competitive nature. She also brings a positive, vibrant personality that can be great for a team."

A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Isenberg was a two-year letterwinner at Omaha Marian High School. During her senior season, the outside hitter tallied 195 kills and averaged 2.0 kills per set. She totaled a 39.9 kill percentage and added 55 blocks. Isenberg helped lead her team to a 38-2 overall record as a senior, and earned honorable mention all-state accolades by the Lincoln Journal Star and the Omaha World Herald. Off of the court, Isenberg was the Marian Scholar Athlete of the Year and achieved NSAA Academic All-State honors. She is a National Merit Finalist.

"Lauren is a spectacular teammate and student," said Wills. "She will add a level of understanding and maturity that is positive for any team. Lauren is also a great athlete and we are excited to see what she will do in our program."
