Tulsa Rowers Set for Sunshine State Invitational this Weekend

The Tulsa rowing team will be back in action on Friday and Saturday, April 6-7, at the Sunshine State Invitational. The two-day regatta will be hosted at the Nathan Benderson Rowing Center in Sarasota, Fla.

TU will race a Varsity 4+, 2^nd Varsity 4+, Varsity 8+ and 2^nd Varsity 8+ against teams from Clemson, Jacksonville, Miami, North Carolina, SMU, Stetson and UCF.

"It's been two weeks since our last race and I know the team is eager to get out and get some strokes down the course," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "We learned a lot about our abilities at last year's Sunshine State Invitational and I am sure this year will be no different. We love competing here because of the great teams. If it's anything like last year, it's going to be an extremely competitive two days and that can only help us as we move into the heart of our 2018 season."
