60-Meters With Adam Roderique

During the 2018 spring season, TU will feature student-athletes from various sports, similar to the Baseline to Baseline videos during the basketball season. Today's feature is 60-meters with Adam Roderique.
Roderique is a redshirt senior from Chesterfield, Missouri. Earlier this year, Roderique was named the American Athletic Conference's Male Scholar Athlete for cross-country. In his four-year career, he has placed inside the top-10 in the American Athletic Conference Championships eight times. This year at the American Indoor Championships, Roderique finished second in the 3,000-meters, with a time of 8:15.64 and added a fourth-place mark of 14:26.20 in the 5,000-meters. He also helped Tulsa capture its eighth consecutive conference title for cross-country. Roderique recorded a ninth-place finish, in a field of 226 runners, at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival in the 5,000-meters with a time of 14:20.65.
