Tulsa to Host Weber State in Quarterfinals of NIVC Tournament on Thursday

TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa volleyball will play Weber State in the quarterfinals of the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC) on Thursday, December 12, at 6 p.m. CT at Donald W. Reynolds Center.
Fans can purchase tickets in advance by CLICKING HERE. Individual tickets are $8. A group price of $5.00 per ticket for a minimum of 15 persons is also available. Tickets can also be purchased on game day at the gate. Gates open 1 hour prior to the match start time.
The Golden Hurricane (17-15, 8-8 The American) opened the NIVC with a four-set win over UC Davis [20-25, 25-13, 26-24, 25-20] in the first round at Long Beach State on Wednesday. Tulsa also played their second round match at LBSU on Thursday, securing another four-set victory over Santa Clara [25-22, 25-22, 23-25, 25-22].
The 2019 season marks the first time the Hurricane has captured multiple postseason victories in a national tournament. Tulsa entered the season having advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament twice (2010, 2011).
The Wildcats (26-8, 13-5 Big Sky) traveled to Wyoming for their opening round matches. Weber State defeated Boise State on Thursday in Laramie and took down hoist Wyoming in five sets Friday night.
