Tulsa Men’s Soccer Team Hosts UConn on Saturday at 6:00 pm for Senior Night

The Tulsa men's soccer team will host UConn in the final home game of the regular season on Saturday, October 24 beginning at 6:00 pm.  The Tulsa-UConn game will be "Senior Night" and TU will honor seniors Dillon Alexander and Bradley Bourgeois prior to the contest.

Tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the north ticket gate, online at TulsaHurricane.com or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688.  Youth 12 and under can get in free by wearing a soccer jersey, and TU students can show their student ID to receive free admission at the gate.  
 
Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch it live on TulsaHurricane.com/watch.  There is a 24HR Pass, a Monthly Pass and Yearly Pass that allow you to watch all TU home men's and women's soccer, volleyball and softball games depending on the package purchased.
 
The Golden Hurricane has a 6-6-2 overall record, including a 2-3-1 mark in American Athletic Conference play, and are coming off a tightly contested game against #12 SMU (3-2). 
 
Tulsa has faced six top-25 opponents, including three in the top-five, so far this season.  The Golden Hurricane tied #2 Virginia (1-1, 2OT), and fell to #1 Creighton (1-0), #4 North Carolina (2-1), #12 SMU (3-2), #18 USF (2-1) and #22 Saint Louis (1-0, 2OT).
 
TU has tallied 23 goals this season from 12 different players, including a team-best five scores from Juan Sanchez, while Geoffrey Dee and Bradley Bourgeois both have three goals. Tulsa also has 22 assists from 11 players, including four each from Dee and Ray SaariJake McGuire has played the majority of minutes in goal, picked up 44 saves for a  .746 saves percentage, and allowed 15 goals for a 1.32 goals-against average.
 
UConn has a 5-5-4 overall record and a 2-3-1 mark in league play, including a 2-0 win over Temple earlier this week.  The Huskies are led by Abdou Thiam with six goals, while Kwame Awuah has five assists.  Scott Levene has played every minute in goal, picked up 38 saves for a .760 saves-percentage and five shutouts, and has allowed 12 goals for a 0.80 GAA.
