Tulsa Hosts Crosstown Rival Oral Roberts Tonight

The Tulsa men's soccer team will host crosstown rival Oral Roberts on Tuesday, October 18, beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. The first 100 fans will receive a Tulsa Reign 'Cane magnet.
Tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the north ticket gate (cash only), online at TulsaHurricane.com or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688.
Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch it live on TulsaHurricane.com/watch. There is a 24HR Pass, a Monthly Pass and Yearly Pass that allow you to watch all TU home men's and women's soccer, volleyball and softball games depending on the package purchased.
The Golden Hurricane has a 7-4-2 overall record this season, including a 5-2 mark at the Hurricane Stadium, and is 5-2-2 in non-conference play.
Ten different players have scored a goal for Tulsa this season for a total of 20 goals on the year. Senior Ray Saari and freshman Matthew Puig have a team-best four goals each this season, while sophomore Jacob Gooden and junior Rollie Rocha both have three scores. Saari and Quinton Duncan both have a team-high three assists.
Jake McGuire has a school-record 15 career clean sheets for the most in school history (dating back to 1996). He also ranks first in minutes played with just over 5,670, is second with 216 saves, trailing Brent Salter (1999-2002) who has the most with 261, and is second in games played with 60, trailing Salter with 62.
Oral Roberts has a 6-6-1 overall record this season, but are just 2-5-1 when not playing on their home field. The Golden Eagles are led by Santiago Riveros with five goals, while Junior Chavez adds three scores. Riveros also has seven assists on the season. Parker Johnson and Thibaut Giquel have combined for 58 saves and three shutouts this season.
