Tulsa Men’s Soccer Team Hosts Memphis in Final Regular Season Contest

The Tulsa men's soccer team returns home to host Memphis in the final regular season game of the season on Friday, November 4 beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.  Prior to the game, TU will honor seniors Quinton Duncan, Jake McGuire and Ray Saari.
 
The TU-Memphis game is Greek Night, with the sorority or fraternity with the greatest attendance winning an inflatable pool and pizza party.  The first 300 students will receive a Tulsa scarf.
 
Tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the north ticket gate (cash only), online at TulsaHurricane.com or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688.
 
Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch it live on TulsaHurricane.com/watch.  There is a 24HR Pass, a Monthly Pass and Yearly Pass that allow you to watch all TU home men's and women's soccer, volleyball and softball games depending on the package purchased.
 
The Golden Hurricane has an 8-4-4 overall record, including a 3-2-1 mark in the American Athletic Conference.  Freshman Matthew Puig has a team-best six goals, while senior Ray Saari has five goals, and sophomore Jacob Gooden and junior Rollie Rocha both have three scores.  Quinton Duncan and Saari both have a team-high four assists.
 
Jake McGuire has a school-record 15 career clean sheets for the most in school history (dating back to 1996).  He also ranks first in minutes played with just over 5,980, and in games played with 63, and is second with 226 saves, trailing Brent Salter (1999-2002) who has the most with 261.
 
Memphis has an 8-7-1 overall record, including a 2-3-1 mark in The American.  The Tigers are led by Jackson Morse with six goals and 12 points, while Raul Gonzalez has three scores.  David Zalzman has a team-best four assists.  Jake Leeker has played the majority of minutes in goal, picked up 71 saves and has six clean sheets on the season.
