Tulsa added Billy Culhane to the list of signees for the 2016 men's soccer freshman class, as announced today by head coach Tom McIntosh. Culhane joins classmates Ryan Alpers, Alejandro Chavez, Aidan Dunne, Garrett Garwood, Matthew Puig, Casper Venstad and David Viox, as well as sophomore-transfer Vincent Pedace who were announced earlier this month.
A 5-11 defender from Edmond, Okla., Culhane plays club soccer for OFC 98. He has helped his club team win the 2013 and 2014 Oklahoma State Cup, as well as claim three-straight USYS Southern Regional Championships. Culhane also plays for Deer Creek High School with current signee Puig, where he is a three-year letterwinner. He has led DCHS to 30 wins in the past three years and a Class 5A State Championship as a junior.
