Tulsa’s Ray Saari Selected to The American Preseason All-Conference Team

Tulsa's Ray Saari was selected to the American Athletic Conference Preseason All-Conference Men's Soccer Team, as announced by the league office. The Golden Hurricane was also picked to finish fourth in the conference, as voted on by the league's head coaches.

A senior midfielder from Kansas City, Mo., Saari is a three-year letterwinner who has started in 39 of 54 games. He has tallied seven goals and eight assists for 22 career points, including one goal and four assists last season.

TU tallied an 8-6-7 overall record, won the American Athletic Conference tournament title for the second-straight season, and advanced to the NCAA Championship Second Round last season. The Hurricane welcomed back 13 letterwinners, including eight starters from a year ago, under the direction of Head Coach Tom McIntosh, who is in his 22nd season.
