Tulsa Men’s Soccer Team Hosts Missouri State on Tuesday

The Tulsa men's soccer team returns to action on Tuesday, September 27 against Missouri State beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.

Tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the north ticket gate (cash only), online at TulsaHurricane.com or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688.

Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch it live on TulsaHurricane.com/watch. There is a 24HR Pass, a Monthly Pass and Yearly Pass that allow you to watch all TU home men's and women's soccer, volleyball and softball games depending on the package purchased.

The Golden Hurricane enters the contest with a 4-2-2 overall record, including a 2-1 mark at the Hurricane Stadium this season.

Senior Ray Saari has a team-best four goals, while sophomore Jacob Gooden has three scores, and freshman Matthew Puig and junior Rollie Rocha both have two scores. Saari also has a team-high three assists, and Quinton Duncan adds two.

Jake McGuire has a school-record 14 career clean sheets for the most in school history (dating back to 1996). He also ranks second in minutes played with just over 5,220, trailing Brent Salter (1999-2002) by 215 minutes; and is third with 202 saves, trailing Salter who has the most for with 261, followed by Dominic Cervi (2004-07) with 207; and is third in games played with 55, trailing Salter (62) and Cervi (56).

Missouri State has a 4-2-1 overall record, including a four-match unbeaten streak coming in to the contest. Emmerich Hoegg has a team-best two goals, while three others have one score. Liam Priestley has logged all 651 minutes between the posts, picked up 16 saves and has three clean sheets.
