Tulsa Men’s Soccer Team Hosts UConn on Saturday on American Digital Network

The Tulsa men's soccer team will host UConn on Saturday, October 1 beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. The Tulsa-UConn game will be broadcast live for free on the American Digital Network.
Tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the north ticket gate (cash only), online at TulsaHurricane.com or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688.
The first 150 students will each receive a rally towel.
The Golden Hurricane, which is 5-2-2 on the season and 1-0 in American Athletic Conference play, is on a three-game winning streak. TU topped Santa Clara, 2-1, in overtime, then went on the road to open conference play at SMU and captured a 3-0 win, and then tallied a 1-0 win over Missouri State earlier this week.
Senior Ray Saari has a team-best four goals, while sophomore Jacob Gooden has three scores, and freshman Matthew Puig and junior Rollie Rocha both have two scores. Saari also has a team-high three assists, and Quinton Duncan adds two.
Jake McGuire has a school-record 15 career clean sheets for the most in school history (dating back to 1996). He also ranks second in minutes played with just over 5,310, trailing Brent Salter (1999-2002) by 125 minutes; is also second with 208 saves, trailing Salter who has the most for with 261; and is second in games played with 56, trailing Salter with 62.
UConn has a 7-3 overall record and are on a four-match winning streak. The Huskies are led by Abdou Thiam with seven goals, while Alex Sanchez, Andrew Geres and Jake Nerwinski all have two scores. Kwame Awuah has a team-best six assists. Scott Leven has logged all 912:14 in goal, picked up 34 saves and has four shutouts.
