Tulsa’s Bromstedt Named The American Rookie of the Week

Tulsa men's soccer player Chase Bromstedt was named as the American Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week, as announced today by the league office.
 
Bromstedt, a freshman midfielder from Parkville, Mo., scored his second and third career goals against Memphis in the final game of the season.  His goals came in the 66th and 72nd minute for the fifth and sixth goal of the contest for TU.  Bromstedt had the second-most shots and shots on goal for the Golden Hurricane in the contest with three each in his 78 minutes of play.
 
Bromstedt was TU's only Rookie of the Week, while Rollie Rocha was the Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 11, and Marcel Da Silva and Gustavo Vargas were the league's Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 11 and Sept. 25, respectively.
