The Tulsa men's soccer team earned a No. 20 national ranking in today's United Soccer Coaches poll, the first ranking in the poll (formerly the NSCAA poll) since Nov. 11, 2014, when the Golden Hurricane was ranked No. 24.

The Golden Hurricane is coming off a 2-0 win over #1 Stanford, while also recording a 3-2 double-overtime win over Santa Clara last week.  TU also tied #25 Wisconsin, 2-2 (2OT), but dropped a 2-0 decision at Missouri State earlier this season.

For their efforts this past week, Rollie Rocha and Marcel Da Silva were named the American Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Goalkeeper of the Week, respectively.  Rocha, who scored both goals against No. 1 Stanford, was also tabbed to the College Soccer News and Top Drawer Soccer National Teams of the Week.

The Golden Hurricane's highest ranking came in 2010, when TU was ranked at No. 2 in the NSCAA (now United Soccer Coaches), Soccer Times and Top Drawer Soccer polls.  Tulsa has been ranked as high as No. 3 in the College Soccer News and Soccer America polls, and No. 4 in the BennettRank (now the HeroSports) poll.
