Tulsa’s 20th-Ranked Men’s Soccer Team Hosts Brown on Friday

The 20^th-ranked Tulsa men's soccer team returns home to host Brown on Friday, Sept. 15, beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. Tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the north ticket gate, online at TulsaHurricane.com or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688.

Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch it live on TulsaHurricane.com/watch. There is a 24HR Pass, a Monthly Pass and Yearly Pass that allow you to watch all TU home men's and women's soccer, volleyball and softball games depending on the package purchased.

TU earned the No. 20 ranking in the Sept. 12, 2017 United Soccer Coaches poll, the first ranking in the poll (formerly the NSCAA poll) since Nov. 11, 2014, when the Golden Hurricane was ranked No. 24.

Tulsa enters the contest with a 2-1-1 mark, including wins over then #1 Stanford (2-0) and Santa Clara (3-2 2OT) last week. TU was recently voted as the NCAA Men's Soccer Team of the Week, as announced by @NCAASoccer on Twitter.

Senior midfielder Rollie Rocha has a team-leading three goals and six points, while Munashe Raranje has two scores. Marcel Da Silva and Cooper Clark have split time in goal for a combined 12 saves and one clean sheet.

For their efforts in last week's games, Rocha and Da Silva were named the American Athletic Conference Offensive and Goalkeeper of the Week, respectively, while Rocha was also tabbed to both the College Soccer News and Top Drawer Soccer Teams of the Week.

Brown has a perfect 3-0 record coming to Tulsa, with five different players all scoring one goal apiece. Quinn English has a team-best four points with one goal and two assists. Joey Cipicchio has played every minute in goal, picking up nine saves and earning two shutouts.

Brown has won both previous meeting with the Golden Hurricane, including a 3-0 decision in 2006 and a 5-0 win in 2001.
