BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Ryan Dinwiddie threw for 405 yards and four touchdowns, including three to Jeb Putzier, as Boise State beat d Tulsa 41-10 on Saturday night.

Putzier caught eight passes for a career-high 164 yards, including touchdowns of 28, 37 and 42 yards, and Brock Forsey ran for 127 yards in the first meeting ever between the two teams.

The Boise State defense limited the Gold Hurricane to 220 total yards offense and 34 yards rushing.

Donald Shoals led Tulsa with six catches for 110 yards.

The Broncos (3-3, 2-1 WAC) led 20-3 lead at halftime on Putzier's first two scores and Nick Calayacay's two field goals.

Tulsa (1-4, 0-3) cut it to 20-10 early in the second half with a 1-yard touchdown run by Ken Bohanon, but the Golden Hurricane could get no closer as Dinwiddie scored on a 1-yard run and then threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Jay Swillie in the third quarter.

Dinwiddie, a sophomore in his first year as a starter, surpassed his single-game high of 342 yards set the previous week in the Broncos' 45-14 loss to Rice.

In the victory over Tulsa, he completed 27 of 37 passes and was not intercepted. Swillie caught 10 passes for 156 yards as the Broncos amassed 570 total offensive yards.
