Tulsa Basketball Teams to Scrimmage on Saturday Night

Tulsa, Oklahoma - Both The University of Tulsa men's and women's basketball teams will hold open scrimmages on Saturday, October 20 beginning at 9:00 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Center on the TU campus.
The TU men will scrimmage for 20 minutes, with a 15-minute women's scrimmage separating the two 10-minute halves for the men's scrimmage.
The Hurricane men return eight letterwinners and three starters from last year's NIT Championship squad. Tulsa compiled a 26-11 overall record and a 10-6 mark for second place in the Western Athletic Conference a year ago.
Guard Greg Harrington is Tulsa's lone senior, and enters the season needing 83 assists to become the school's career leader. Juniors Kevin Johnson and Dante Swanson were recently named to the preseason all-WAC team as selected by the league's coaches.
For the Tulsa women, four seniors will lead the Hurricane into action this season, including forwards Leela Farr and Carla Morrow and guards Rachel Hall and Mia Williams. Tulsa looks to improve upon last year's 8-22 record.
