Fresno State/Tulsa Softball Games Rained Out

Sand Springs, Okla. - The Western Athletic Conference doubleheader between Fresno State University and the University of Tulsa at Charles Page High School Softball Field was rained out on Friday afternoon.

With two outs in the bottom half of the second inning severe lightning halted the game. Fresno State held a 2-0 lead, as the Golden Hurricane had a runner on second base when the weather started getting severe.

Following a three and a half-hour rain delay, game officials decided to postpone the game until Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. (CST). The teams will complete the game, then play the regularly scheduled doubleheader for Saturday to conclude the regular season.
