Men's Hoops Rallies To Defeat Louisiana Tech, 71-68

RUSTON, La. (AP) - Antonio Reed's 3-point goal with 13 seconds remaining lifted Tulsa to a 71-68 victory over Louisiana Tech in a Western Athletic Conference game Thursday night.
Reed's game-winning shot rallied Tulsa (13-3 overall, 4-1 WAC) from a 61-55 deficit with 4:41 remaining and earned the Golden Hurricane its third straight victory. The loss dropped Louisiana Tech to 9-6, 3-3.
With Tulsa chipping away at its lead, Tech tied the score at 55-all on a layup by Antonio Meeking with 55 seconds remaining. After Reed's game-winning shot, Tech's Gerrod Henderson missed a buzzer beater to end the game.
Kevin Johnson led Tulsa with 24 points, Jason Parker added 11 and Charlie Davis had 10 points, a game-high 10 rebounds and three blocked shots. Reed finished with eight points.
Henderson's 23 points led Tech and reserve Marco Cole added 10.
