Following the Tulsa-Kentucky game in the second round of the NCAA East Region at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Mo. Featuring Head Coach John Phillips, senior Greg Harrington and junior Kevin Johnson.

Head Coach John Phillips
"I thought it was a tremendous college basektball game. Kentucky started the game tremendously hot. It didn't matter whether we were in a man or a zone."

On Tayshaun Prince and his Tulsa team's effort: "Prince made an unbelievably tough shot at the end of the half. Their best player stepped up and made a really tough shot. For the most part, he made tremendous shots the whole game. We kept fighting back time after time, but came up a little bit short. The first half ended and I looked at the stat sheet... all our stats were better than theirs. We do it by committee and they did it with one player."

On Prince's efficiency: "He's always been considered an all-American player. He showed why today. You take 21 shots and get 41 points, that's incredible."

On Kentucky: "I like to give credit when it's due. Kentucky was better than us today. Their team was great. They did what they had to do to win the game."

On his Tulsa team: "They are a special group. We have them all coming back next year except for Greg (Harrington) I think this team was really special. They bought into what I was selling... so unselfish, they loved each other and that's unsual in this day and time."

On the team's future: "I have to become a better re bounding coach next year. I did a poor job of preparing them for that aspect of the game."

Greg Harrington
On yesterday's upset of Marquette: "I know we didn't consider our win yesterday an upset. I didn't work hard all season to get to the first round to lose."

On the success of the Tulsa program: "We're going to put winning ahead of anything else. We had to sacrifice a lot to make it to this point, and it has really paid off the past couple of years."

Kevin Johnson
On Harrington's leadership: "The younger players respect what he's done in the last four years and want to follow in his footsteps of leadership."

On being overmatched physically on defense: "We focus on rebounding and boxing out. I try to use my quickness to combat their size."
