Softball Opens Conference Play at Louisiana Tech

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa softball squad opens Western Athletic Conference play on Saturday, March 23, with a doubleheader at Louisiana Tech in Ruston, La. The games were originally scheduled to start at 5 p.m., but due to weather and field conditions, the start time has been moved to 3 p.m.

The doubleheader between Louisiana Tech and TU will mark the first conference games for both teams.

LTU owns a 2-1 advantage in the series with TU, with the last game resulting in a 2-0 victory for the then #34-ranked Lady Techsters. The other two meets occurred in 1995 and in 1994.
