Tulsa, Okla (AP) - Center Kevin Johnson had 16 points and nine rebounds and reserve Jason Parker scored 14 as second-seed Tulsa rolled to an easy 72-53 victory over Boise State Thursday night in the Western Athletic Conference Tournament, setting up a Friday semifinal matchup with Fresno State.

Charlie Davis contributed 10 points and seven rebounds and Jarius Glenn added 10 points for the Hurricane.

After a ragged start, Tulsa began to solve the aggressive Boise State zone and closed the first half with a 23-6 surge to lead 36-19, capped by Dante Swanson1s 3-pointer with one second left.

Parker and Johnson combined for 10 early second-half points as Tulsa built the lead to 52-31 and cruised home from there.

Booker Nabors scored 20 points to lead Boise State, which finished its season at 13-17. Abe Jackson had 12 but no other player had more than 7.

Boise State shot just 27.8 percent in the first half and 40 percent for the game, was outrebounded 41-34 and had 15 turnovers to just nine for Tulsa.
