El Paso, Texas - The UTEP (8-4-0, 3-1-0) women's soccer team scored four second half goals to comeback and defeat Tulsa, 4-1 on Friday night at University Field.

The Golden Hurricane (3-8-1) scored the lone goal of the first half as Carrie Schnarre connected with Staci Morgan for her fourth goal of the season.

UTEP got out of the gates quickly in the second period with Kate Stevens scoring at the 47:16 mark on passes from Kaletia Roberts and Kia Sams.

A little over a minute later freshman Christine McCartney added her team-leading 11th goal with the assist going to Sams.

Freshman Kelli Yeamans netted her second score of her career in the 73rd minute off Barbara Butt's corner kick. Roberts also added an assist on Yeamans' goal.

Senior Kristi Jang capped the scoring with one second remaining in the game off a pass from Jennifer Hernandez.

UTEP goal keeper Kyla Clark stopped one shot and improved to 5-1-0 on the season. The Miners out shot Tulsa, 16-6.
