Tulsa Gets WAC's Automatic Bid to NCAA Tournament

Tulsa's Kevin Johnson was named MVP of the Williams WAC Tournament while leading the Hurricane to the NCAA Tournament for eighth time in the last 10 years.

Tulsa, Oklahoma - With Tulsa's 75-64 victory over Nevada in the WAC Tournament Championship game on Saturday night, the Golden Hurricane has secured the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

The TU Athletic Ticket Office will be open for ticket requests for the NCAA Tournament on Sunday, March 16, from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Monday, March 17, from 8-12 noon. Ticket requests will not be accepted outside of these hours or through any other office or phone extension at The University of Tulsa. Interested fans can stop by the ticket office at the Donald W. Reynolds Center between these hours, or call 918-631-GoTU (4688).

Ticket requests for the NCAA Tournament are limited to two tickets per request. Tickets will be awarded based on The University of Tulsa's priority point system.
