Send-Off Pep Rally Set For Tulsa Basketball Team

Tulsa, Oklahoma - A send-off pep rally is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, March 18, as The University of Tulsa basketball team leaves for Spokane, Washington. The Golden Hurricane (22-9, 12-6 WAC) will face the Dayton Flyers (23-5, 13-2 Atlantic-10) in first round NCAA Tournament action on Thursday afternoon.

The send-off pep rally will take place on the Chapman Plaza, (northwest side) of the Donald W. Reynolds Center across from the LaFortune Dormitory Parking Lot, with festivities beginning at 2:00 p.m. The team will depart for the Tulsa International Airport at 2:30 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Tulsa Golden Hurricane basketball team. Limited edition tournament apparel will be available for fans to purchase. Tulsa Head Coach John Phillips will address the crowd.
