Recap |  Final Stats |  Quotes

• Ashlan Davis scored Tulsa's first touchdown on a reception. It was his fourth TD of the year, but just his first by receiving. His previous TDs came on two kickoff returns and one punt block.

• James Kilian's 56-yard pass to Garrett Mills is the longest pass reception of the season. It bettered Tulsa's opening 52-yard touchdown pass in today's game from Kilian to Ashlan Davis.

• Kilian's 52-yard touchdown pass to Davis on the first scoring drive was the longest pass play for a touchdown this season.

• The 52-yard touchdown reception is also the longest since a 54-yarder from Kilian to Romby Bryant last year against UTEP on Nov. 1, 2003.

• Brandon Diles 43-yard run in the second quarter was the longest run from scrimmage this season for the Hurricane. The previous long was 28 yards by James Kilan vs. Navy.

• Tulsa's 14 first quarter points is the most this season for the Hurricane. Tulsa came into the game with just 13 points total in the first quarter this year in the first seven games.

• Tulsa led at halftime for only the second time this season (14-9). The previous time was against Southwest Missouri State, 14-7. Tulsa has been tied at halftime three times this year (Kansas, Hawaii, Nevada).

• James Kilian had his second game this year with two rushing TDs, and the fourth time in his career.

• Tulsa led the whole game. The last time that happened was against Louisiana Tech in Game 11 last year (Nov. 15, 2003).

• Since joining the WAC in 1996, Tulsa has now won games in consecutive seasons against the same opponent just twice. It has now happened against Rice in 2003 and 2004, and against UTEP in 2002 and 2003.

• James Kilian connected on 10 straight passes (totaling 151 yards) before throwing an incomplete pass in the fourth quarter.

• Uril Parrish had his third career 100+ rushing game, and the second time this year.

• James Kilian had his seventh career 200+ passing game today.
