• Uril Parrish went over the 1,000-yard mark this season on his 37-yard touchdown run. He became just the 11th player in school history to surpass 1,000 career yards, and the first since Charlie Higgins in 1997.

• He moved into a 9th place on the school's single-season rushing chart with 1,064 yards, tying Derrick Ellison (1986).

• Parrish now has 1,690 career rushing yards

• Parrish had his fifth 100+ rushing game this season. It's the first time since the 1997 season that a Tulsa running back has had at least five 100+ rushing games in a season.

• For the second straight week, Uril Parrish went over the 100-yard mark in the first half.

• Tulsa held UTEP scoreless in the first quarter. It's the fourth game this year that Tulsa has held the opposition scoreless in the first quarter. The previous three games were Kansas, Nevada and San Jose State.

• Ashlan Davis had his fifth kickoff return for a touchdown this season with a 74-yard return. The return extended his NCAA single-season record that he established earlier this season in four straight games. The NCAA career kickoff return for a TD record is six held by Southern California's Anthony Davis (1972-74).

• Brad DeVault missed his first field goal attempt this year that had not been blocked. He has had three previous attempts blocked this year.

• Tulsa tied its most points in the first half with 24. The only other time Tulsa scored 24 first-half points this year came last week against San Jose State.

• Tulsa scored three touchdowns (20 points) off of UTEP turnovers.

• Tulsa's defense forced a season-high three turnovers. The previous high was two in six games.

• Michael LeDet had three interceptions to tie a school record, which happened by several players. The latest was Jeremy Bunch against East Tennessee State inj 1995.

• In the last two seasons and 12 home games, Tulsa has scored over 30 points in nine of those 12 contests.

• For the second straight week, Tulsa has blocked a field goal attempt.

• The last time Tulsa defeated an Associated Press top-25 team was #19 Iowa, 27-20, on September 21, 1996.
