TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Jarius Glenn had 14 points and 11 rebounds and Anthony Price scored 19 as Tulsa routed winless Prairie View A&M 97-44 Sunday.
Tulsa (2-3) made 10 of its first 13 field goals in staking a 24-9 lead in the first eight minutes. The Golden Hurricane overwhelmed the shorter Panthers inside throughout and dominated the boards 60-23.
Tulsa, which entered the game shooting 41 percent for the season, hit 63 percent of its shots in the first half and 53 percent for the game.
Chris Wallace hit two 3-pointers in the first 2:15 on his way to a career-high 13 points and Brett McDade scored a career-high 12 points and had six assists without a turnover in his second career start for Tulsa.
Guilherme Teichmann added 10 points and nine rebounds and Price also had nine rebounds as both narrowly missed double-doubles.
The Golden Hurricane led 52-18 at the half and coasted throughout the second half.
Oscar Thompson led Prairie View A&M (0-6) with nine points. The Panthers shot 28 percent from the field and 25 percent from 3-point range while hitting only 50 percent of their free throws.
