Tulsa Loses Heartbreaker In Double OT

HOUSTON (AP) - Jason McKrieth scored 36 points, including five straight in the second overtime, as Rice beat Tulsa 111-103 Saturday.
Rashid Smith hit a jumper with 2:19 in the second overtime to put Rice (16-7, 8-4 Western Athletic) ahead for good at 101-100. McKrieth then scored five consecutive points to stretch the lead to 107-101 with 26 seconds left.
Tulsa (7-15, 3-10) led 88-84 with 45 second left in regulation, but McKrieth and Brock Gillespie each scored layups at the buzzer to force overtime.
The game went to a second overtime tied at 98 after Rice's Michael Harris, who finished with 21 points, missed a free throw with 23 seconds left.
Jason Parker had 25 points and Jarius Glenn scored 24 for Tulsa.
