"I thought our guys played hard tonight. We got beat by a good football team. I give Les a lot of credit. They are big, strong, physical football team. I thought their quarterback made some plays, threw the ball well. You have to give them a lot of credit. They beat us tonight."
On slowing the OSU offense "Again we played pretty good defense for the most part. We got worn down a little bit, probably played too many snaps in the second half. But again I thought our guys did a good job. We needed to stay on the field more in the second quarter. Field position was tough. I don't know if it was a face-mask or not, I couldn't tell. From the field it didn't look like it on the jumbo-tron but that was a big play there, it changed field position. Again, I thought our defensive guys played hard. They battled out there all night long. We made some plays on offense, took the opening drive in for a touchdown. I'm proud of the way we played."
On the offensive troubles "Again, I think that we are further ahead on offense then we were at this point and time last year. I think we are making good progress. We are playing against good defenses. We'll be playing against good defenses all year long. I'm not frustrated. As long as our guys go out and they play for 60 minutes, you are going to find a coach that is proud of this football team and I think our guys did that."
