Tulsa Thrashes San Jose State, 80-48

TULSA, Okla. (AP) Guilherme Teichmann scored a season-high 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as Tulsa beat San Jose State 80-48 on Sunday.
Jarius Glenn added 18 points and had four rebounds, two blocks, two assists and a steal for Tulsa (9-17, 5-11 Western Athletic), which has won five of its last six home games.
Teichmann scored Tulsa's first eight points and had 17 points and eight rebounds in the first half as Tulsa overcame an early 8-1 deficit to lead 33-20 at the break.
Marquin Chandler paced San Jose State with 18 points, but had just four points while sitting out much of the first half with three fouls.
Eric Bloom added 13 points for the Spartans (6-20, 3-13 WAC), which shot just 30.4 percent, was outrebounded 44-30 and had 14 turnovers in suffering their most lopsided loss of the season.
Tulsa shot 53.7 percent for the game, including 66.7 percent in the second half.
