"We knew we were facing two very good (running) backs and it was very important for us to get them down with the first shot and make them go east and west and I thought we did a nice job of that. The only significant yardage they had running was because of holding penalties and I thought the referees did a good job of getting those called. I thought we continued to battle throughout the course of the game and stayed with our plan. We tried to put pressure on them and run east and west. We wanted to make them bounce the ball outside and throw it on third and long in passing situations where we could pressure the passer and force him into making bad decisions."
