Tulsa Post-Game Notes vs. East Carolina

• Tulsa game captains are Nick Bunting, Nelson Coleman, Donnie Johnson and Paul Smith.
• Linebacker Chris Chamberlain started his first game of the season. It is his 19th career start.
• Seniors Jeff Perrett (OT) and Nick Bunting (LB) started their 41st consecutive games.
• After going scoreless in the first quarter in three straight games, Tulsa had its second consecutive game of scoring a touchdown in the first period.
• Paul Smith's interception in the first quarter was his first INT since the third game of the year. He went 91 pass attempts between interceptions.
• For only the second time this season, and it was the second straight game that Tulsa did not throw for more than 100 yards in the first half. Tulsa's 52 first-half passing yards was the lowest this season in the first half, as last week Tulsa had 52 first-half passing yards.
• Paul Smith moved into seventh place on the school's career passing chart in the first half of the game, surpassing Jeb Blount (1972-75).
• In five of six games this year, Tulsa has held the total offense advantage. The only game that Tulsa did not lead in the total offense category in the first half came at BYU.
• After not losing a fumble in the first four games of the season, Tulsa has now lost three fumbles in the last two contests.
• Jarod Tracy kicked a career-long 41-yard field goal on his longest attempt of the season. He has now connected on 4-of-5 field goals this season.
• Tulsa has won its last 12 games when out-gaining the opponent in total offense, and is 22-2 when out-gaining the opposition under Steve Kragthorpe.
