TU Softball Hosts Second Fall Scrimmage on Saturday

Senior Angela Osbon and the Golden Hurricane will host a pair of exhibition games on Saturday, Sept. 30, beginning at 11 a.m.

Tulsa, Okla. - Fans will have a second opportunity to see The University of Tulsa softball team in action on Saturday, September 30th as the Golden Hurricane will host the second of two fall scrimmages at the Donna J. Hardesty Sports Complex.

The festivities will kick-off with TU playing Connors State at 11 a.m. Tulsa will then face Central Oklahoma at 3 p.m. There is no admission fee for the event.

Tulsa won 34 games in 2006 in route to the program's first NCAA Regional appearance, along with Conference-USA regular season and tournament titles. TU returns nine players off last season's squad, including C-USA Tournament MVP Julie Fennell and all-tournament selections Brooke Smart and Sara Dyer.
