Opening Statement... "It was an interesting game. In some sense I'm real proud of the guys in terms of what our stats are. Part of it is we were a little stunned, a little taken back and we had lost that winning way. We'd lost three in a row and found a way to get it done. Not the way you wanted, not the way you draw it up. Mark Hill played an absolutely fabulous game and knocked the free throws in to win the game. I thought Ben Uzoh played very well. I thought my freshmen played incredibly well. It was a total team effort. I give Matt a lot of credit, he did what he thought he had to do to win the game. A 1-2-1 defense, a 2-3 defense, a man-to-men defense and try to slow it down a little bit due to his depth in the back court."
On the special jerseys... "I did have a lot of anxiety this week about it because the darn things weren't in. We had ordered them a long time ago, DT did all the research and got the pictures. We were just fired up about it and we knew the kids would just absolutely love them. They had no idea, so when they came into the locker room with 14 to go I was standing there with a big smile on my face and they saw them and they just kind of went nuts. I just think its awesome that we have tradition that we can embrace."
