  • Tulsa trailed at the end of the first quarter for the second time this season. The first time came against Oklahoma, also 14-7.
  • Paul Smith threw for over 100 yards in the first quarter for the third time this season. The first two came against UL-Monroe with 120 yards and 136 vs. BYU.
  • Brennan Marion had his second 100+ receiving game this season, and in both games he surpassed the 100-yard mark in the first half. He had 108 yards on three receptions vs. UTEP in the fist half, and earlier this year he had 124 first-half yards on two catches vs. BYU.
  • Jarod Tracy missed his first PAT this year after making his first 20 PATs this year. His last miss came ion his last attempt of the 2006 season against Utah.
