- Tulsa seniors Paul Smith and Nelson Coleman started their 37th consecutive game today.
- Brennan Marion's first reception went for 60 yards and his second for 50 yards, giving him 12 receptions for over 40 yards and 18 catches for 20+ yards this year.
- Army's 14 first quarter points tied the most this year for a Tulsa opponent in the first quarter. Oklahoma and UTEP also scored 14 first quarter points.
- Army's 24 points in the first-half was one more than the Tulsa defense had given up in the previous six quarters of the first half combined, as the Tulsa defense held the previous three opponents to just 23 first-half points. Tulsa held Houston to 0, Tulane to 10 and SMU to 13 first half points.
- Paul Smith's 50-yard touchdown pass to Brennan Marion set the new school single-season touchdown passes record with 33.
- Brennan Marion had his fifth 100+ receiving game of the season, the most since the 2005 season when Garrett Mills had seven 100+ receiving games.
- Paul Smith had 306 first-half passing yards, giving him his second 300+ first-half passing game of the season (the other was 302 yards vs. BYU). He has now thrown for over 300 yards in all 11 games this year.
- With two TD passes, Tulsa established a single-season school record with 35 touchdown passes. The previous record of 34 TD passes was established in 10 games in 1967.
- Tulsa established a single-season school record for passing first downs today. The record was 162 first downs passing in the 1965 season.
- Tulsa went over 30 points for the eighth time this season, and the 37th time since the 2003 season (the last 62 games). It's also the fifth time this year that Tulsa has gone over 40 points, including in each of the last three games.
- Tulsa went over 500 yards in total offense for the eighth time this season. Tulsa went over 600 yards of total offense for the fourth time this year.
- For the third time this season, Tulsa had two receivers go over 100 receiving yards in the same game. This time Brennan Marion and Trae Johnson went over 100 yards.
- True freshman Trae Johnson went over 10 yards for the third time this season.
- Tarrion Adams rushed for over 100 yards for the fourth time this season and the sixth time in his career.
- Cody Madison had his first catch this season and only the third in his career.
- Nelson Coleman tied Michael White (1987, 89-91) for the most career tackles with 389. He came into the game with 380 career tackles.
